Information for customers enrolled in the Equal Payments Plan

Every year, in February, Énergir updates the monthly payments for customers enrolled in the Equal Payments Plan (EPP). This way, payments are adjusted to reflect actual usage and customers can avoid major increases at year end. Between February 6 and March 10, customers enrolled in the EPP will be sent a letter confirming their new applicable payment amount until June.

The majority of our customers can expect to see a temporary increase in their monthly payments this year. In most cases, the increase is due to higher-than-usual consumption resulting from colder fall temperatures than in previous years. That situation caused many customers to start heating their homes earlier than usual.
