Less expensive and more durable than an electric humidifier, a natural gas humidifier offers precise adjustments to humidity levels through decentralization of vapor supplied to a building.
Lower your energy bill by combining performance with efficiency as the natural gas humidifier is less expensive than the electric one.
Natural gas is easy to use and the right equipment can improve performance significantly. In addition, natural gas allows us to realize substantial savings compared to fuel-oil or electricity.

Chart comparing annual energy costs1 equivalent to 11,804 m3 (100% heating) which represents energy consumption for a hospital.
Ideal for public buildings, the natural gas humidifier is a decentralized, multi-purpose humidifying system on the cutting edge of technology that can produce pure moisture in any building’s ambient air.
Several businesses have decided to choose natural gas as an energy source to reduce their energy costs and reinvest the money saved to improve their competitiveness.
The Fleurimont Hospital, now part of CHUS, was built in the 1960s and converted to natural gas in the 80s. At the time, the goal of the conversion was simply to save money and reduce pollution. The hospital centre, aided by invaluable subsidies, naturally turned towards natural gas.

* Certain conditions apply. Grant amounts will vary, depending on the equipment installed and the building’s characteristics. Only buildings within proximity of the natural gas network are eligible for the grant. . To benefit from the grant, you must submit a signed contract for the distribution and sale of natural gas to the contractor in charge of the work or to the Énergir representative. Grants will only be paid once the natural gas equipment is installed. A five-year natural gas supply contract is required. The eligibility criteria are listed in the Consumption Rebate Program guide approved by the Régie de l’énergie, a copy of which may be obtained on request. Grant amounts must not exceed eligible expenses. Program conditions and grant amounts may also be subject to change without prior notice.
